Emily Farrell

Before joining CELCO in 2010, Emily worked as Director of Donor Programs for Defenders of Wildlife.   Emily was responsible for the management and oversight of Defenders’ donor development and membership multi-channel marketing programs including acquisition, renewals, monthly giving, appeals and telemarketing.  With a membership base of 500,000 members that raised more than 60% of the operating revenue for the organization, this dynamic program included aggressive marketing efforts including direct mail, telemarketing and online activism.

Prior to joining Defenders, Emily was Manager of Acquisition Programs at ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital where she managed the acquisition and lapsed donor direct mail programs for the largest medical health charity in the nation.  She was responsible for the acquisition list buying, creative strategy and analysis – both programs raised an average $18+ million in revenue and generated over 1 million new/reinstated donors per year.

Emily’s other professional experiences include working with Envision EMI, Inc. as the Senior Deputy Director of Marketing and with MCI WorldCom as a Program Manager.

Emily is a graduate of James Madison University located in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
